- The matching browser or app visitor when available
How to do it

Read the Identify API contract and choose the canonical application user ID.

Send the identity with the supported visitor or customer matching context.

Open the visitor profile and confirm server, browser, and app activity converge correctly.
What to check
- Repeated identify calls are idempotent
- Conflicting identities are rejected or repaired without cross-customer merging
